D J Slater Ltd was contracted on a recommendation by a previous client, looking to construct their retirement home, designed to sit within the plot of their existing home. Modernity and comfort were built into this two-bedroom dwelling with a large entrance hall, downstairs cloakroom, a utility room tucked away with a separate entrance to the house, a large fully equipped bright and open plan kitchen-dining-living area, large bi-folding doors into the garden space, tall vaulted upstairs ceilings and two ensuite bedrooms. This dwelling was constructed over a six-month period and finished in a modern, scenic grey-coloured cladding.
